Two BIG SADCASE Events for 2019

A few notices for you all to digest!

A SADCASE 'Gearbox' meeting was held last night to discuss the 2019 summer events and the following was decided upon:

As most of you will know last years usual Storrington show at the end of July was cancelled due to the atrocious weather that hit us that day and we managed to quickly organised a replacement show on the August Bank Holiday Monday at Ford airfield. The Ford show was a huge success with over 600 cars on display. Everyone loved the event and want us to hold the event every year if we can. Comments were made that there was not enough catering choice or autojumble to keep everyone happy but that will be addressed next time. I think it was amazing what was achieved considering the show was organised in just 3 weeks.

Now we are a Storrington based club and we would like to continue with the Storrington show at the end of July. The local Storrington town council are happy to support the event and they feel it would be a great loss to Storrington if it was not to continue as it is now considered a major event in the area.

SO! We have decided to do BOTH shows this year and probably every year. Storrington on Sunday July 28th and Ford on Bank holiday Monday August 26th. Always the biggest problem with any show set up is finding the right person to head up the challenge of organising the event or events. SADCASE are very lucky that superstar Kevin Jappe has put his hand up and volunteered to be the lead person for BOTH events. He is already booking food vendors and autojumblers for both events. If you would like a pitch for yourself or know someone who would like one then please contact Kevin for info. Don't hang around as the pitches will go fast. Contact Kevin on: 07525 701520 or

More details of the events will be forthcoming as and when we have them but please put them in your diary for now.
