Tesla to visit SADCASE at both April Monthly Meets
Tesla at Gatwick have got in touch with SADCASE about demonstrating their latest Model S. Had you asked us 10 years ago for our bet on which manufacturer would be the first to introduce a viable, fast, practical and competitively priced all-electric luxury saloon to the UK, we would have looked to Germany or Japan, or even South Korea, for a credible tip. The fledgling upstart from Palo Alto in the US, only incorporated in 2003, would not even have been a blip on the radar. But within a decade, Tesla has gone from an idea to a deadly serious player in the unpredictable business of building – and selling – zero-emission cars.
Tesla’s mission is to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. Model S is the first fully electric sedan and is an evolution in automotive engineering. Combining performance, safety, and efficiency, it has reset the world’s expectations for the car of the 21st century with the highest possible safety ratings, the longest range of any electric vehicle, and over-the-air software updates that continuously make it better.
Tesla Product Specialist and SADCASE member Sam Grantham, will be bringing an example of Model S for SADCASE members to see up close and hopefully experience first hand.
