Triumph Stag MK I
March's Car of the Month- A stunning 1971 Triumph Stag provided kindly by Richard Griffiths. She was stored in a barn for 28 years and was completely rebuilt from scratch by Faversham Classics in 2018. No expense spared. On rebuild she was changed to manual with J overdrive. The original Triumph V8 is driving her but it’s interesting to note that is a factory exchange engine so must have suffered the dreaded overheating problem under warranty. No such problems now as she has a hot weather radiator. In deference to safety she has American spec seats and rear seatbelts. Other than that and electronic ignition and the wrong soft top she is original and cost much more than she’s worth-look forward to seeing this in the summer months at events!
