1965 Austin Mini Cooper S
What a wonderful way to start 2018 with a 1965 Austin Mini Cooper S provided by Tim Cousins. This example was purchased in 1988 for £1,500 from a farmer who was using it to hold down is silage sheets! The restoration took six years to complete with a worldwide search for historic rally parts. The 118 bhp engine has a special competition crankshaft, twin H4-SU carburettors and a high-lift camshaft, and a transmission that incorporates a straight-cut gearbox and limited-slip differential. Thank you to Tim for allowing us to feature this fantastic car.
